Assistant Web Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Web Press Operator to join their production team in Missouri. This position is a strong opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in web offset printing.
Pay- Starting pay: $23/hour
- Open to candidates with 0–1 years of experience
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

- Multiple roll stand configurations
- Double-former delivery systems
- Rotary cutter delivery systems
- Combo folder delivery systems
- Sheeter delivery systems
- Closed-loop color systems
- Assist press operators with setup, operation, and shutdown of web offset press equipment
- Help prepare and monitor paper rolls, roll stands, web feeding, and delivery systems
- Support press crews during production runs to maintain quality and efficiency
- Monitor print quality, color, registration, and overall production flow
- Assist with folding, cutting, sheeting, and delivery operations
- Make basic adjustments under the direction of press operators or leads
- Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to the team
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance support, and housekeeping around the press
- Follow job tickets, production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Work closely with press operators, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals
- Web offset printing experience preferred, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
- Prior experience in print manufacturing, production equipment, bindery, or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Comfortable working around large production equipment
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
- Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift
