As a third-generation family business, we take pride in quality products and our employees.We are looking for a skilled general machinery Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Des Plaines, IL facility.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain plant machinery and equipment following a preventive maintenance schedule to keep equipment functioning at maximum efficiency and reliability.Analyze and trouble-shoot equipment problems as they occur.Follow all safety practices and immediately corrects or reports unsafe or hazardous conditions.Job Requirements:Experienced with basic hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical maintenanceFamiliar with basic carpentry, plumbing and building maintenanceKnowledge of CNC machinery and equipment maintenanceAble to read and understand maintenance schedules, machine schematics, and troubleshooting manualsAble to climb ladders, stoop, bend and otherwise physically able to access all areas of machinery and equipment to perform maintenanceValid driver's licenseNote: This job summary does not cover or contain a comprehensive list of duties.
