Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Seattle (North Seattle)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (standard business hours)
Pay: $22-30/hr. DOE

This position is responsible for maintaining apartment homes and common areas, completing work orders, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience with apartment maintenance, drywall repair, painting, and general maintenance tasks, along with a strong commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, painting, and cleaning.
  • Patch, repair, and texture drywall as needed.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and unit refreshes.
  • Handle basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, sinks, toilets, and minor leaks.
  • Complete basic electrical repairs such as replacing fixtures, switches, and outlets.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs and inspections.
  • Maintain common areas, grounds, and building appearance.
  • Identify and report safety hazards or major repair needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents.
Qualifications
  • Basic Previous maintenance, handyman, apartment maintenance, or facilities experience preferred.
  • Experience with drywall repair, patching, texture matching, and painting required.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
