Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Step onto the night shift where you keep a high-performing manufacturing plant running at peak uptime. As our go-to multi-craft technician (I/II level candidates encouraged), you’ll balance preventive care with rapid response—owning PM schedules, safeguarding spare parts availability, and jumping in to restore equipment performance so production never misses a beat.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Pay Range: $24.50-$35.50/hour plus overtime.
  • Night Shift Schedule: 11:00PM - 7:30AM (Sunday @ 11:00PM - Friday @ 7:30AM)
  • Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required, with on-call responsibilities for repairs and assistance.
What You’ll Own
  • Lead preventive and reactive maintenance for plant manufacturing operations while managing PM schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls, including DC/AC motors and drives, downstream equipment, chillers & etc.
  • Act as the 1st responder when machines fault—escalating to Electrical Engineering for additional support when needed.
  • Order and specify replacement parts and control components; coordinate directly with suppliers.
  • Drive CMMS accuracy by completing PM and Repair Work Orders on time and in compliance.
  • Support Daily Management directives and initiatives that align maintenance to production goals.
  • Collaborate with Production Staff to promote safe, reliable operation of all plant equipment.
  • Help develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to increase throughput, reliability, and Safety.
  • Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory to ensure maximum production rates.
Your Toolbox (Skills & Knowledge)
  • Hands-on use of electrical test equipment: voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, Megger & etc.
  • Solid grasp of basic machine function and Sequence Of Operations for production machinery.
  • Fluent reading of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, UL508A, and NFPA 79 codes.
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
  • Arc Flash safety and appropriate PPE requirements.
  • Comfort with electrical formulas and mechanical math.
  • Experience with 3-phase industrial wiring and power distribution.
  • Background with AC, DC, and servo drive/motor systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC I/O and networking.
  • Motion experience/training with servo drives and motors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Qualifications
  • High School / Vocational School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • Technician-level capability in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics – Preferred
  • 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance with Electrical Systems and Controls
  • Basic PLC and drive training
  • Plastic process knowledge is a plus
