Winonics is seeking a Soldermask Operator to join our PCB manufacturing team in Brea, California. This position performs soldermask processing on printed circuit boards (PCBs), including panel preparation, application, imaging/exposure, developing, curing, and inspection.The ideal candidate has PCB manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow travelers, work instructions, and process specifications in a fast-paced production environment.Job ResponsibilitiesReview travelers, work orders, process instructions, and specifications before processing PCB panels.Prepare and pre-clean PCB panels and verify the correct materials, films, artwork, screens, and job setup.Set up and operate soldermask equipment, including screen printers/coaters, imaging or exposure units, developing equipment, and curing ovens.Apply and process soldermask while maintaining proper coverage, thickness, and registration.Perform screen imaging and hand registration as required.Monitor exposure, developing, curing, bake time, temperature, and other required process parameters.Perform visual and in-process inspections to identify defects such as pinholes, contamination, incomplete coverage, and misregistration.Accurately record production activity, inspection results, and process information.Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of equipment, tools, and work areas.Follow all safety, chemical-handling, PPE, quality, and manufacturing procedures.Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to address process or quality issues and maintain production flow.Perform other related duties as needed to support production.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of PCB manufacturing, soldermask, screening, or related PCB fabrication experience preferred.Ability to read and follow travelers, work orders, manufacturing instructions, and process specifications.Experience with soldermask application, screen printing, imaging/exposure, developing, or curing equipment preferred.Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.Basic computer and data-entry skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work overtime or weekends when required to meet production needs.Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 lbs.Ability to work in a PCB manufacturing environment around production equipment and chemicals.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and safety glasses/goggles, and other protective equipment as required.
