A quick blueprint review guides your setup, you touch off tools, set work offsets, and run a first-article part. Calipers and micrometers confirm the numbers; a small G-Code tweak dials in the finish. Machines hum steadily as you monitor cycle after cycle, keeping quality at the center of every decision. That’s a typical day in this role—owning setup through inspection while collaborating with teammates to keep production moving smoothly.

What you’ll do
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to meet part specifications and production targets.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan your approach.
  • Monitor machining operations continuously to uphold precision and product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished components against specs using precision measuring tools.
  • Partner with team members to refine machining processes and drive efficiency gains.
  • Maintain an orderly, safe workspace and follow all safety procedures.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a machining-related technical degree/certification is preferred.
  • Verified experience as a CNC Mill Machinist or in a closely related role.
  • Fluency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong, consistent commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude.
