Operator 2 (Mixer)
Location: Riviera Beach
Schedule: M-S 4:30 am-finish production.
Pay rate: $18h

Position Summary
The Operator 2 (Mixer) is responsible for safely and efficiently operating industrial mixing equipment to produce consistent, high-quality batches in accordance with production specifications. This position monitors the mixing process, performs equipment adjustments, maintains accurate production records, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate mixers and related production equipment according to established procedures.
  • Weigh, measure, and load raw materials accurately according to batch formulas and work instructions.
  • Monitor mixing times, temperatures, speeds, and other process conditions to ensure batch consistency.
  • Inspect materials and finished batches for quality and report any abnormalities or deviations.
  • Make routine equipment adjustments and notify maintenance or supervision of mechanical issues.
  • Complete batch records, production logs, and other required documentation accurately.
  • Perform equipment cleaning and changeovers according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, GMP, and environmental procedures.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely handle materials and equipment.
  • Assist with material handling, production line activities, and other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and quality problems promptly to the Supervisor or Lead Operator.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or mixing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions, formulas, and safety procedures.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure materials.
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical production duties for extended periods.
Work Environment
This position may involve working around industrial machinery, dust, noise, chemicals, or other manufacturing materials. Proper PPE and adherence to all workplace safety procedures are required.
