Position Details

• Location: Templeton, CA

• Assignment: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

• Start Times: 6:30 AM or 8:30 AM

• Days: Rotating — days of the week are not fixed

• Call: 1 night per week + 1 weekend per month

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech/OR experience

Required Experience

Candidates must have strong recent experience scrubbing cases in:

• Orthopedics

• Total Joint/Total Replacement

• GYN

• General Surgery

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience

• BLS/CPR certification

• Surgical Technician certification preferred

• High school diploma/GED preferred

• Associate/technical degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields

• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies

• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures

• Perform accurate sponge, needle, blade, and instrument counts

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures

• Prepare ORs according to surgical specialty

• Assist with equipment and supply management
