About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our evening shift team at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an Evening CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, vital signs, and personal care
Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
Current CNA certification in the state of New York
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and dignity
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate: [$19.00 - $27.46] depending on experience, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for weekends
