We are seeking an HVAC air duct cleaner/maintenance technician. This position is a part of our building maintenance service department, but will be focused primarily on air duct cleaning.
As a duct cleaner, it is your job to clean air ducts for heating and cooling systems. Your duties include cleaning these systems, providing basic maintenance, and performing inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of HVAC duct systems to identify areas requiring cleaning or repairs.
- Use specialized equipment to clean ductwork and remove dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing explanations of services and recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documenting any issues or concerns discovered during inspections.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in duct cleaning, HVAC maintenance, restoration or construction industry preferred. NADCA Certification a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clear background check.
- OSHA 10 hour card required. We can guide right candidate if you don’t have.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Some nights and weekends required.
