We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our clients' growing insurance team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while building lasting relationships and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for an established book of commercial insurance accounts, managing all aspects of the client relationship from onboarding through renewal and everything in between.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a sophisticated book of business with account premiums exceeding $25,000. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex insurance concepts to clients across various industries. You will work collaboratively with a team of insurance professionals, carriers, and clients to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client Relations
  • Manage and service a dedicated book of commercial lines accounts with annual premiums exceeding $25,000, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members, maintaining consistent communication and building strong, trust-based relationships
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess coverage adequacy, identify gaps in protection, and recommend appropriate solutions tailored to each client's unique business operations
  • Proactively monitor account activity, respond to client inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high client satisfaction and retention rates
  • Document all client interactions, policy changes, and important account information in the agency management system
Policy Renewal Management
  • Oversee the complete renewal process for all assigned accounts, beginning 90-120 days prior to expiration dates
  • Analyze current coverage, claims history, and business changes to determine appropriate renewal strategy
  • Prepare comprehensive renewal presentations comparing coverage options, premiums, and carrier recommendations
  • Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for clients
  • Coordinate renewal timelines, ensuring all documentation is completed and policies are bound before expiration
