Role and Responsibilities

  • Take on the fabrication of specialty orders.
  • Teach and cross train fabricators.
  • Work with shipping and receiving to ensure orders are complete and ready for delivery.
  • Assist with the review and or processing of drawings submitted for fabrication when needed.
  • Diagnose, source parts, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Implement routine preventative maintenance by following the PM schedule provided.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule-days, and some weekends.
  • Present yourself in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to work with variety of tools, follow directions and be able to read and write.

  • Shop Equipment to include Metal Breaks, Shears
  • Forklift operation
  • Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
  • Material Handling: Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
  • Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must successfully pass a background check & drug test.
  • Knowledge of HVAC or Construction preferred
  • CAD knowledge preferred

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
