Summary: Tour Guides need to be high energy individuals that can engage the race fan during all Charlotte Motor Speedway’s daily tours and event time tours. Guides need to have a flexible work schedule and possess exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
• Greet and provide top-notch customer service to all visitors of Charlotte Motor Speedway by effectively answering questions, providing directions, and selling tours.
• Provide safe tours to the general public and groups
• Tour Guides need to be high energy individuals that can engage the race fan during all Charlotte Motor Speedway’s daily tours and event time tours. Guides need to have a flexible work schedule and possess exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Inform the Tour Services Manager when maintenance and care is needed on the tour vans.
• Solicit group tours and conventions to purchase daily tours
• Utilize FareHarbor ticket system by selling daily tours through it, adding customer accounts and doing end of the day ticket reports.
• Responsible for fueling and performing safety inspection on tour vans prior to usage and keeping vehicles clean.
• Enjoy working with fans of all ages
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, Outlook and PCs is required
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible and able to adjust to changing conditions and circumstances
• Flexible work schedule and willing to work weekdays, weekends and some evenings
• Clean motor vehicle driving record & hold a valid non-DOT medical certificate or be willing to obtain one
• Able to operate a 15-passenger van
• Specialized knowledge of Charlotte Motor Speedway
• Pace Car Certified (CMS will provide this certification)
• Passionate about NASCAR and racing
