We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our clients' dynamic insurance team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the commercial insurance industry. The successful candidate will work closely with Commercial Lines Department Managers, providing essential support in day-to-day servicing activities and insurance renewal processes. This role serves as a critical bridge between clients, insurance carriers, and account management team, ensuring seamless policy administration and exceptional client service.

While a Property & Casualty (P&C) license is not required at the time of hire, this position provides an excellent foundation for professional growth within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Management Support
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to Commercial Lines Department Managers in all aspects of client account servicing
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine client inquiries and requests, escalating complex issues to senior account managers as appropriate
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for all assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate communication between clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members to facilitate efficient policy administration
Proposal Development and Client Communication
  • Create professional and comprehensive insurance proposals for prospective and existing clients, clearly presenting coverage options, terms, and pricing
  • Develop detailed summaries of insurance coverage
  • Prepare documents to help clients understand their insurance options and make informed decisions
  • Compile and organize pre-renewal client data, including loss runs, current policy information, and updated business information to facilitate the renewal process
Policy Administration and Processing
  • Conduct thorough reviews of insurance policies for accuracy, ensuring all client information, coverage details, and endorsements are correctly reflected
