Precision Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator

Looking for a role where your forming skills set the standard? At Anchor Fabrication in Lavergne, Tennessee, we’re hiring for a 1st shift Press Brake professional who can set up, run, and inspect with confidence—while working with limited supervision.

Questions you might ask

What will I do?

  • Set up and operate all equipment in the Brake Department.
  • Interpret blueprints and perform both first-article and last-piece inspections.
  • Use knowledge of sheet metal behavior to hit precise bend angles and radii.
  • Complete labor and basic clerical reporting accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Pitch in for overtime or shift changes if business needs require.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

What experience do I need?

  • Preferably 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Proficient blueprint reading and solid math aptitude.
  • Comfort with GD able to pass a GD&T test.
  • Hands-on time with Amada or Trumpf brakes is a plus.
  • Epicor exposure is a plus.

What education is expected?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical school background is a bonus.

Where will I work and on what schedule?

  • Location: Lavergne, Tennessee
  • Schedule: 1st shift; overtime or different shift assignments may occur as needed.

  • Machines/Tech: Press Brake (Trumpf, Amada), measurement gauges
