Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
