Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a specialized program for language disorders and other communication needs. Two openings are currently available for dedicated SLPs or SLPAs in a vibrant school environment, with the flexibility to work at one, two, or occasionally three sites—all conveniently located within a few miles of each other. The schedule runs from 8:45 am to 3:35 pm, August 26th through June 8th.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Holds licensure/certification as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA with experience in school or healthcare settings
  • Background in pediatrics, particularly K-5th grades, with a focus on language disorders and autism spectrum disorder
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems is highly valued (Proloquo2Go, LAMP, TouchChat)
  • Comfortable managing caseloads of 30–40 students, including those in self-contained and specialized programs
  • Able and willing to supervise Clinical Fellows (CF) and/or SLPAs
  • Strong skills in administering evaluations, writing progress notes, leading IEP meetings, and Medicaid billing (using SOAP notes)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with moderate to profound language needs, including ASD
  • Use a variety of AAC devices to support communication
  • Conduct assessments (including triennials), implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise CFs and/or SLPAs as assigned
  • Provide occasional early morning services at a preschool site (ages 3-5)
