Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based speech-language therapy
- SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are welcome
- Background in healthcare or educational SLP settings
- Must be fully vaccinated, as the student is immunocompromised
- Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to individualized student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct two 45-minute speech therapy sessions weekly in the student’s home
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments
- Collaborate with families to support student progress and carryover of skills
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data to track advancement
- Ensure all interventions meet ethical and professional standards of speech-language pathology
