Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP License and SLP-CCC credentials
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and establish individualized speech/language goals for students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions across a K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining clear and effective communication regarding student needs and achievements
- Keep thorough records of progress, interventions, and assessments in compliance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy approaches to align with each student’s learning profile and goals
