As a CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP, you'll play an integral role in supporting a mild to moderate elementary caseload. Your expertise will empower students to find their voices and improve their communication skills, while you collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and specialists in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current or eligible California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with mild to moderate elementary caseloads
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students at one school site
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and communicate progress, adjusting strategies to optimize student outcomes
