Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Knowledge of evaluation tools, therapy techniques, and IEP processes
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to support a diverse student population with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student goals
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative services in accordance with student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families for cohesive support
- Maintain clear documentation of evaluation results, progress updates, and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices and compliance mandates for school-based SLPs
