Step into an impactful role supporting elementary-aged students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Based near Holyoke, MA, this full-time, contract opportunity begins on August 26, 2026, and continues through June 15, 2027. You’ll collaborate in an elementary classroom dedicated to ABA/Autism-based programs, providing essential guidance and individualized instruction to help students achieve their learning goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Experience or strong interest in ABA/Autism educational programs at the elementary level
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement differentiated instructional plans to meet diverse learner needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students with varying abilities in ABA/Autism-based settings
  • Create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s strengths and areas for growth
  • Work closely with classroom staff to implement behavioral and educational interventions
  • Offer continuous progress monitoring and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for your students, building positive relationships with families and specialists
