Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Wisconsin
- Experience in school settings, preferably working with students from early childhood through secondary levels
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based OT and familiarity with IEP processes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to varied caseloads
- Proficient in documentation and progress reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to student IEPs and 504 plans
- Assess, evaluate, and document students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support academic and daily living success
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Act as an advocate for student independence, self-care, and participation in school routines
This role begins August 31, 2026 and continues through June 3, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week onsite.
