Key Qualifications:
- Arizona Special Education teaching license (required)
- ELA certification (required)
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (required)
- Experience or passion for working with high school students in a resource setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction in a high school resource room setting
- Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with a multidisciplinary team
- Adapt and deliver curriculum to support varying learning needs in ELA and other core subjects
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Communicate consistently with parents, general education staff, and related service providers
- Maintain a respectful, positive classroom environment that promotes inclusivity and student growth
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights regarding students’ needs
This position offers an engaging weekday schedule from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday.
