Job Description
Make a meaningful difference supporting students as an Occupational Therapist at a dynamic school setting near De Pere, WI. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver impactful therapy services to students. Working onsite, you’ll provide essential support to help students achieve their fullest potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Wisconsin
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy best practices within educational environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet a variety of needs within a diverse student population
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine their eligibility and need for occupational therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate interventions and track student progress
- Document therapy sessions thoroughly and maintain accurate records as required by school and district policies
- Provide consultations and strategies to teachers and staff to help integrate OT supports into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
This contract is for the school year running from 8/31/2026 through 6/3/2027, with a full-time workload of 37.5 hours per week. The caseload details will be provided.
