Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arlington, TX

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a school-based contract position. Working 20-25 hours per week, you’ll be instrumental in fostering communication skills and academic success for children in an educational environment near Arlington, TX. Your leadership and clinical expertise will extend to supervising SLPA team members and ensuring quality services for all students on your caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working within a school or pediatric setting
• Strong understanding of best practices in speech therapy for school-aged children
• Experience supervising or mentoring Support Personnel (SLPAs) preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students, documenting findings and recommendations
• Manage all aspects of IEP development and attendance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to SLPA staff in accordance with state and district policies
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and compliance tasks
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team discussions
