School Psychologist in Stamford, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist (required)
• Prior experience in an elementary school setting preferred
• Proficient in IEP writing and implementation
• Skilled in providing one-on-one and group counseling services

• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 25 elementary school students
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and suggest appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and well-being
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
• Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and other school-wide support efforts

This assignment is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week, and runs from the date of hire through June 24th. You’ll work alongside a dedicated school team, connecting with professionals who value student-centered practices and holistic support.
