Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing, initiating, and managing respiratory care plans
  • Proven ability to operate ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, and related equipment
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
  • CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical respiratory care role strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments of patients’ cardiopulmonary status to plan and implement appropriate respiratory therapies
  • Administer therapeutic treatments, including ventilator management, airway care, and breathing treatments
  • Monitor and document patient progress, making recommendations for adjustments as needed
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the highest standard of care
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Respond swiftly and efficiently to respiratory emergencies, such as code blue and rapid response situations

$1,474 - $1,613/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
