We are looking for a Sage Consultant to support a Contract engagement in Rochester, New York. This role will serve as a hands-on ERP partner for a local team that needs practical guidance, user training, and stronger operational processes following a recent Sage implementation. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders on-site to improve system adoption, align day-to-day workflows, and provide structure across finance and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead on-site support for the Sage environment, helping employees use the system effectively in their daily work.
• Deliver training sessions for office staff and key business users to build confidence and consistency across departments.
• Evaluate current workflows and design practical procedures that improve accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Act as the main point of coordination between local leadership and external partners involved in the ERP effort.
• Identify process gaps, system usage issues, and reporting challenges, then recommend workable solutions.
• Support planning activities related to rollout stabilization, resource coordination, and operational priorities.
• Partner with finance and administrative teams to strengthen system use for billing, payables, and related business functions.
• Monitor quality and consistency in system-driven processes to help reduce errors and improve overall performance.• Hands-on experience working with Sage X3 in a consulting, implementation, or post-go-live support capacity.
• Strong background in ERP project delivery, including rollout planning and coordination of business resources.
• Demonstrated ability to train end users and translate system capabilities into clear business procedures.
• Experience supporting financial systems and administrative processes such as accounts payable, billing, and reporting.
• Knowledge of business process improvement methods with the ability to assess and redesign workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership, office staff, and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working on-site in Rochester, New York, with flexibility as operations become more stable.
