Step into a meaningful role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist on a contract basis, located near Van Nuys, CA. This part-time assignment covers a medical leave, starting immediately and currently anticipated through October 31st, with the possibility of an extension. You’ll have the flexibility of a schedule that requires just two days per week, offering balance alongside your professional growth.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current OT license in California (required)
  • Previous experience in school settings and/or pediatric populations
  • Ability to work effectively in both onsite and teletherapy modalities
  • Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience delivering therapy services in home health, healthcare, or educational environments is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy support and interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
  • Complete timely documentation and progress reporting for student caseloads
  • Utilize a combination of in-person and teletherapy sessions as determined by student requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to student planning
