Preferred Background and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Hold current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or registration as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Experience or passion for working with pediatric students in school settings
  • Familiarity with the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with district and state requirements
  • Maintain thorough and timely session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Consult with teaching staff and parents to support classroom strategies and student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating therapy environment
