Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with school-aged children or in pediatric settings preferred
- Comfort with IEP processes, documentation, and collaborating with educational teams
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- COTAs must have or be open to required supervision by a qualified OT
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Assess, develop, and implement interventions to promote student access and achievement within their educational environment
- Accurately maintain records and progress notes, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Adjust therapy techniques as needed to meet diverse student needs and goals
