Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current State SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience with K-8 students preferred
• Skilled in working with moderate to profound communication challenges
• Proficient with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with diverse speech and language needs
• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student goals
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to create effective communication plans
• Maintain accurate documentation for each student in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Utilize AAC devices and strategies to support students with significant communication deficits
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
