Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity working onsite as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive, student-centered environment. This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year. You'll play a key role in helping students achieve their fullest potential through individualized therapy and collaboration with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state or eligible for licensure
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and goal tracking
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Positive attitude and commitment to student growth and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Document assessments, progress, and updates according to school and legal requirements
- Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student support and IEP development
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
