Near Avon, IN, you’ll work onsite in a supportive setting with dedicated paraprofessional assistance. Four openings are currently available, each focused on nurturing diverse abilities and maximizing each student’s potential.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for Indiana
• Experience working with multi-categorical or life skills caseloads preferred
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, staff, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and individualized support to an intermediate life skills class with 9 students
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to address students’ unique learning needs and goals
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with two paraprofessionals in the classroom to adapt lessons and activities
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Track and report on student progress, communicating regularly with parents and staff
