What you’ll bring:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-8 populations
- Strong skills providing both direct therapy and indirect support services
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educators
- Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a diverse caseload
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to K-8 students as prescribed in their IEPs
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs to implement and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy notes
- Participate in team meetings as required during contracted hours
- Adhere to site-specific policies and utilize available resources to optimize student support
