Special Education Teacher | Gilbert, Arizona

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Resource Room teacher to support high school students for the 26/27 school year. Enjoy a structured schedule from 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a contract placement in an engaging educational environment situated near Gilbert, AZ.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching license (AZ SPED certification)
• ELA certification
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience supporting high school students in a resource room setting is highly preferred
• Strong ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families on IEP development and implementation
• Track student progress, adjust strategies, and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom culture that promotes growth and achievement
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training as needed
