Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students’ growth during the 2025-2026 school year by joining a welcoming educational community near Swanton, VT. This full-time contract position focuses on providing specialized instruction and ensuring academic success for a diverse K-12 caseload.

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology—whether as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLPA, or with experience in school, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy settings—and transform students’ lives through individualized support and collaboration with a dedicated team of educators. No voco services required, emphasizing on-site and direct engagement.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher
  • Background in speech-language pathology (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLPA) preferred
  • Experience in school-based or healthcare settings serving pediatric populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and evidence-based instructional strategies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and leading small group or individualized sessions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and intervention tailored to K-12 students’ unique needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain clear documentation, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Engage with families and staff to promote academic and social growth
