Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers an opportunity to apply specialized pharmacy expertise within a specialty pharmacy environment focused on patients with complex, chronic conditions. The position is based in the Mount Juliet, TN area and entails a contract-to-hire arrangement starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused therapies.
  • Managing therapy-specific requirements for factor replacement treatments, emicizumab, and a range of subcutaneous and intravenous infusions.
  • Educating patients and families on medication administration, side effect management, adherence techniques, and safe home handling of infused drugs.
  • Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure seamless clinical management.
  • Assisting with benefits and access navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to handle insurance authorizations and financial assistance programs.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Current Tennessee pharmacist license.
  • Multi-state pharmacist licenses, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is highly desirable; training is available.
  • Previous background or interest in specialty pharmacy and clinical patient management is preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
