Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Pennsylvania
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience delivering school-based SLP services
- Comfortable providing direct therapy and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Knowledge of supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Speech or Language Impairments (SLI), and Autism Spectrum Disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to students in 5th–8th grades
- Complete thorough and timely speech-language evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student-specific needs and IEP goals
- Maintain organized documentation, data collection, and progress reporting in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, special educators, and families to promote each student’s communication development
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet diverse needs within a caseload of 20–30 students
