Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong background in healthcare, school-based, or home health OT
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and establish effective treatment goals
- Deliver direct therapeutic services individually or in small groups
- Develop intervention strategies and adapt activities for student success
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and families on therapeutic methods and at-home strategies
- Travel as needed between school sites
