Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Delaware Special Education Teacher license (required for consideration)
- Proven experience or strong desire to support students with diverse learning needs
- Competency in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering learning atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills for student, parent, and staff collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Implement evidence-based strategies and accommodations
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, supportive environment
- Partner with general education staff to ensure student success
