We are looking for a Contract Human Resources (HR) Manager to support an accounting firm in Braintree, Massachusetts. In this role, you will serve as a key resource for both managers and employees, helping to strengthen day-to-day people operations while fostering a positive and well-organized workplace. This opportunity is well suited for someone who combines strong interpersonal skills with a careful, organized approach and can confidently handle a broad range of HR matters.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with department leaders and staff to provide practical guidance on employee relations issues, workplace concerns, and day-to-day HR matters.
• Oversee core human resources activities, including hiring coordination, onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing administrative support.
• Advise managers on performance conversations, coaching strategies, and employee development efforts to support team effectiveness.
• Help maintain compliance with employment policies, internal procedures, and applicable labor regulations across HR practices.
• Contribute to workforce planning, compensation-related processes, and recurring annual HR initiatives that support business needs.
• Review and interpret HR data to identify trends, support decision-making, and align people strategies with organizational objectives.
• Support HR systems and related administrative processes, including records management, benefits coordination, and payroll-related collaboration.
• Build trusted relationships across the organization by delivering responsive, thorough, and employee-focused HR support.• Prior experience in an HR Generalist or broad-based human resources role.
• Demonstrated background handling employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding activities.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and comfort using systems to manage employee information and reporting.
• Familiarity with benefits-related processes and coordination with payroll functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a personable approach when working with employees and leadership.
• Experience in a services environment such as accounting, legal, or engineering is preferred.
