Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting student growth and development. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week from September through December 2026, serving students through both in-person and teletherapy services. Contribute your expertise in a school-based environment, working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to strengthen student outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure
- Background in school-based OT services
- Previous teletherapy experience is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic services to students in accordance with IEPs, both onsite and via teletherapy
- Conduct evaluations and develop goal-oriented intervention plans
- Document all services, progress, and communication in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Engage parents, teachers, and staff in providing support and recommendations
- Contribute to IEP meetings and prepare required reports
- Adjust therapy techniques and interventions to address individualized needs and promote student success
