School Occupational Therapist - Mesa, Arizona

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting student growth and development. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week from September through December 2026, serving students through both in-person and teletherapy services. Contribute your expertise in a school-based environment, working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to strengthen student outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure
• Background in school-based OT services
• Previous teletherapy experience is a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic services to students in accordance with IEPs, both onsite and via teletherapy
• Conduct evaluations and develop goal-oriented intervention plans
• Document all services, progress, and communication in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Engage parents, teachers, and staff in providing support and recommendations
• Contribute to IEP meetings and prepare required reports
• Adjust therapy techniques and interventions to address individualized needs and promote student success
