Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of current OT practices, especially for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual or group settings
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Educate school staff and families about appropriate OT strategies and supports
