Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active license as a Physical Therapist, sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based environments is a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic school settings and work well with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to help students achieve their physical goals and academic success
  • Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support students’ needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and other specialists to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Educate staff and families on strategies for inclusion, safe movement, and use of adaptive equipment
