Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Biola, CA

Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supporting elementary-aged students through a maternity leave coverage from mid-October to early February. You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced and welcoming supervising SLP through Voco, ensuring you have guidance and support at every step. As a vital resource for students, teachers, and families, your compassionate approach and technical knowledge will be valued and appreciated.

What you'll bring:

• At least 3 months of experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school setting
• Current, active California SLPA license
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with early learners (Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not required

Your key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of speech-language interventions and activities under SLP supervision
• Contribute to student progress by implementing therapy plans and documenting outcomes
• Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP to align on student needs and best practices
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce communication goals
• Encourage and motivate students throughout their therapy sessions
