  • Grade Levels: Preschool through Post-Secondary
  • Programs: RSP, Autism, Mild/Moderate, and Mod/Severe

Special Education Teacher Job Description:

  • Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual needs and IEP goals
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver differentiated instruction, accommodations, and modifications
  • Support students with academic, behavioral, communication, functional, and transition-related goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and school teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements

Pay & Benefits:

Requirements:

  • Active California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential, depending on assignment

Interview Process:

  • 10–15 minute screening call with a Spindle recruiter
