Special Education Teacher - Westfield, MA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience in ABA or Autism support programs, preferably in an elementary setting
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavioral interventions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Apply ABA strategies and evidence-based interventions in classroom routines
• Foster positive student engagement and monitor academic and behavioral progress
• Collaborate closely with paraeducators, related service providers, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, ongoing training, and professional development
• Maintain comprehensive records and assessments as required
