Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential services as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This position, set to begin on August 26, offers the chance to support students in both Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE, Birth–5) and K–12 programs in a vibrant community close to Myrtle Point, OR. With two openings available, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals to foster communication and learning in young learners.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
- Experience with school-based caseloads or pediatric populations preferred
- Comfort working with diverse age groups, including Early Intervention and K–12 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs
- Open to new graduates and experienced clinicians
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in alignment with IEP goals
- Work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records and reports as required by school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
- Engage in team collaboration within a supportive multidisciplinary environment
- Manage a moderate and manageable caseload
